Frank and Zeke Alaskan Husky, adult males

WOW! These are two beautiful boys!  They are from the same mom, Annie, raised by Kevin Solomon in Fort Yukon. Frank was the first, and Kevin was willing to let him go because he thought he'd be too big for sprint racing.  He's a great wheel dog and has speed and endurance and can pull a pretty heavy load all on his own.  He's named Frank after Frank Sinatra, "Old Blue Eyes" since one of his eyes was blue for a long time.  Frank is the color of Annie, and has a heavier and softer coat; lived outside at 60 below and 80 above.  Zeke came a year later, and quickly established his dominance with Frank, who really doesn't mind.  Zeke is the faster of the two in a shorter run, but doesn't quite have the determination of Frank.  When they're free to run, they run side by side for the most part, neither of them willing to let the other be out ahead.  Zeke especially always wants to be in front, even on a walk, but then Frank will be pulling to at least catch up and be even with him.Zeke had a twinkle in his eye even as a pup, and is quick and always alert.  Frank likes the attention of people, and will nudge your hand to get petted, and can be quite persistent.  He doesn't like to be brushed a lot, whereas Zeke loves it.

They don't bark at people, but will bark at dogs. They love to play and hang out with any sort of breed.  They don't bite at all, although Zeke will tease and mouth a person to try to establish the alpha position if you let him.  Grab his nose a couple of times and he'll respect your position as Alpha.  They love kids and grown ups.  Not much in the water unless it's not more than chest deep.  They love the snow of course and like to chomp on it and run in deep snow.

They shed quite a bit in the summer, and grow back a really thick coat in the winter.

Their story of is one many dogs dream of, however their family has come to live in a place where they just don't belong....THE CITY!!!!   So, if you would like to be the proud parent of a true alaskan husky, contact Fast Running Paws.
