Adoptable Dogs
The following animals are currently available for adoption.  If you are interested in adopting an animal that you see, email us with the animals name and age and we will  get back to you .  with an application that will need to be completed before you can be considred.    All animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations before they are sent to their new homes. We prefer to send Wolfdogs to homes with previous experience with the breed and will require proper containment for them as well. A home visit may be required.  If you are looking to adopt a wolfdog to be "cool", you have come to the wrong place.
PEACE

Parry

This a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful home.  We believe him to be a malamute/husky/shepherd mix.  We put his age at approximately 8 years old. He has been neutered and is now current on all his vaccinations. Parry is Heartworm negative, but he tested positive for 2 tick-borne illnesses; lymes and anaplasmosis. He is currently being treated and should recover just fine!!!   Like many of large breed dogs he has developed some stiffness in his hips and back legs. In time he may need pain meds/supplements to cope.   This really is a great dog! handsome, laid back, mellow, great with other dogs, did I mention he was handsome??

His adoption fee is  $125.00 . Perry is currently at a foster home so if interested in meeting him please contact us and we will be more than happy to get you contact information!!!

Kuma
is a native word meaning "Bear". He is a 4yo purebred Alaskan Malamute. 100lbs and a bit overweight. He is neutered, utd on vaccs, wormed and hes tested negative for heartworm and lymes. Kuma loves people and is most content when he is laying at your feet while you read a book or watch tv. Kuma is a very calm, mellow dog in the house! He likes older kids and offers up his big belly for rubs to them. He is housebroken and cratetrained, and hes got good leash manners. KumaBear is quite the talker! He will sit and hold a conversation with you for as long as you will humor him. He roo's and ruff's and just loves being vocal. Kuma is a dominent personality and gets along well with dogs who will let him be. He does NOT get along well with cats! He's got your typical Mal prey drive and temperment, his looks and eyes almost make him come off as snooty and standoffish, but hes NOT! Hes a giant love bug who just wants a home to call his own. He needs a family who will give him the attention he deserves and who understands the breed in that they are pretty independant, and they also blow their coat out twice a year. And he does! And its quite shocking if you arent expecting it. But body brushings a few times a week (which he loves) keeps his coat in check and makes the blowout minimal.
Kuma loves men and women alike, though would be great for a single woman who is looking for some companionship as well as a guard dog. Kuma is very alert and vocal and will often put himself between his humans and anything he thinks is a threat. Kuma is not excessively energetic and while daily exercise is good for him, if you miss a day, the wonderful thing about him is that he wont go crazy off the wall on you. He will lay patiently until you are ready. Come meet KumaBear!

 DONUT AND BUFFY
We have 2 beautiful sled dogs up for adoption. $75 each, negotiable to the right home.   They are great Wheel dogs and are very friendly.
Donut has been neutered. Buffy has NOT been spayed.
Donut (Gray) has always been an outside dog and loves attention as well. Neither dog ran much in the past few years, but when we have run them, they've done very well.
Buffy (Tan) has been a house dog in previous years and was house trained. She loves to roll on her back and just hang out.

KODA
Please request an online application at pethavendogs@yahoo.com.
Koda may be a Husky-mix, but he is all Husky at heart. He loves to hunt and always has his nose to the ground or in the air in search of prey. He likes to find a spot that is higher than the rest of the yard. That way, he can always keep a watchful eye. His chosen spot is the picnic table atop his fosters’ deck overlooking the yard as well as their neighbor’s.

Seemingly aloof and rather stand-offish (another Husky trait), Koda, or “Ol’ Blue Eyes,” is very sweet and always in the mood for a good tummy rub and ear scratching. He’s very good with everyone from little children to adults. He also seems to do best with small dogs and little puppies. Larger dogs appear to upset him, causing some aggressive behavior.

Koda’s very good on a leash and adores long walks. He seems to know his basic commands (sit, lay down, shake etc.). His fosters are working hard on manners and getting him to better respond to his name. (Koda was a stray, so “Koda” is not his original name.) He is totally house broken, likes to be brushed and doesn’t seem to mind a bath.

Given the opportunity, Koda will run. And run. And run. He’s fast, agile and has been seen jumping 15 to 20 feet off a seven-foot wall at full speed without missing a beat. Because of this, Koda will require a big backyard with a very secure fence. He may even need kenneling when left alone. Obedience training is also a must.

Experience with the Husky breed would be helpful. Koda is definitely not a good “first dog” choice. But with a lot of understanding, structure and exercise, he’ll make a great and loveable companion.

Koda's adoption fee is $195.00(cash or check only) and includes spay/neuter, heartworm check, current vaccinations, and microchip and registration.

Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 60-mile radius of the Twin Cities area.

Can you help us find a home for this family?

*****ADOPTED*********
THIS HANDSOME GUY NEEDS A PLACE TO CALL HOME!
Mac is a handsome Husky mix. He is 3 years old and is a very sweet, easy going dog. Mac has proven to be excellent with kids and other dogs. Mac is just a dream of a dog, great in the house, quiet, mellow.. He loves rolling in the grass and playing chicken. Mac is quite the prankster and has proven to be an escape artist when left unattended in a yard, so a fenced yard is recommended. Mac is good with my cat, but I dont know if he will be good with all cats. Mac may be too high strung for small children, unless you were to begin obedience training immediately. Mac needs daily exercise!! Mac has been neutered, wormed, vacc'd and tested negative for heartworm and lymes, so he is ready to go home with you...

KNIK**AD0PTED** is ready to retire.  We have used him in a large number of school visits, camp tours and visits to nursing and veterans homes.    Knink is no longer fast enough to keep up with the younger dogs on a working sled dog team. he is 9 1/2 years old and ready to be spoiled!!! He is neutered, very sound and healthy and current on all vaccinations.  We would like to find him a great family or person who would like to spoil him in his senior years. He is Good with other dogs and absolutely fabulous with children.  Knik is an absolutely beautiful akc Siberian.
